Nigerian film actress, Akinyanju Omobolarinde aka Ashabi Simple, has opened up on why she chose to date controversial street artiste, Portable, despite knowing people will taunt her for it.<\/p>\n
Ashabi who recently made headlines after welcoming a child with Portable spoke in an interview with @facetvafrica, on why she started dating the Zazuu crooner. <\/span><\/p>\n According to her, attraction differs for each person and she is attracted to him. In her words:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen a person has not experienced a thing, they cannot explain how it is. I also want to say that issues cannot affect people the same way, we are all human and the way we accept things is different. If I see someone and I like him, other people might see him and not like him because what might be appealing to me about him might be a turn off for the other person.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The Yoruba actress also admitted that she never considered being in a relationship with a celebrity but as God would have it, it happened. Ashabi added that she doesn\u2019t see it affecting her Nollywood career at all. She said:<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am happy because it was not in my plans and I never considered marrying an actor talkless of a musician but God did not make it the end of my journey because some people\u2019s careers will end when they face situations they did not expect. Although I can\u2019t see the future, I sense that it is not the end, it\u2019s actually a new beginning and a way forward for me. I\u2019m happy because he (Portable) is supportive and he is ready to be more supportive.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
