Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Tope Alabi has come under serious fire and scrutiny after a certain video of her ministration went viral.<\/p>\n

Tope Alabi could be seen in the company of her backup singers using a certain \u2018word\u2019 while ministering in church and has led traditional worshippers vibing to it and asking the gospel singer to identify with them. <\/span><\/p>\n

The award-winning singer used the word \u2018aboru aboye\u2019, which is a popular phrase used by a particular sect of traditional worshippers to greet each other. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tope Alabi<\/a> kept emphasizing the word and while it has become viral with remix videos springing up, netizens have bashed her for using such a phrase in the church of God, while others queried her spirituality. Some however stated that the gospel singer just has a deep sense of Yoruba words. See videos and reactions below:<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that Tope Alabi was linked to the late Prophet Ajanaku, who was reportedly into traditional religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking out on their relationship after his passing, Tope Alabi revealed that she had distanced herself from him even before the scandal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alabi, who was rumored to be having an affair with the prophet, said there was nothing sexual between both of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to her, she had already parted ways with the late man of God before rumors of his diabolic ways came to the fore.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alabi said in an interview with Faaji FM:<\/span><\/p>\n
