{"id":146021,"date":"2023-10-19T20:29:56","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T20:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=146021"},"modified":"2023-10-19T21:08:36","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T21:08:36","slug":"ive-been-living-in-constant-fear-since-my-cook-a-thon-nearly-died-few-days-ago-chef-dammy-cries-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/10\/19\/ive-been-living-in-constant-fear-since-my-cook-a-thon-nearly-died-few-days-ago-chef-dammy-cries-out\/","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;ve been living in constant fear since my cook-a-thon, nearly died few days ago &#8211; Chef Dammy cries out"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Chef Dammy, after her grueling 120-hour cook-a-thon, said she has been walking on eggshells, pointing fingers at these so-called &#8220;righteous trolls&#8221; who have been cooking up death threats.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>This fervent Christian chef is scratching her head, wondering why these trolls are still hot on her heels, serving up threats, long after her sizzling cooking marathon wrapped up back in June.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nigerian Chef Damilola Adeparusi has taken to social media, sounding the alarm that she&#8217;s been on edge for months, fearing potential attacks, after her controversial quest to break Colleague, Hilda Baci&#8217;s world record.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WITHIN NIGERIA<\/strong> reported that an Ekiti-based lady, Chef Dammy took up a cook-a-thon \u2018test run\u2019 on 11 June and continued until 15 June, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint.<\/p>\n<p>Her bold attempt was welcomed with mixed reactions with some berating her for attempting to break Hilda\u2019s record just weeks after she set the record, while others commended her bravery.<\/p>\n<p>She once boldly declared her unwavering determination to outshine Hilda Baci by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/06\/16\/chef-dammy-unveils-plan-to-unseat-hilda-baci-with-150-hour-cook-a-thon-video\/\">attempting a 150-hour cooking marathon slated for July.<\/a> However, that plan never made it out of the oven.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to October, Chef Dammy, in her latest expos\u00e9, lamented the unrelenting storm unleashed by certain &#8220;men of the God&#8221; who&#8217;ve bombarded her with threats, curses, and a barrage of insults in the wake of her cook-a-thon, that left her in a perpetual state of anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>She said it&#8217;s a situation that almost cost her dearly, pushing her to the brink of death only a few days ago.<\/p>\n<p>Chef Dammy finds it utterly bewildering why these tormentors are still hounding her, considering it&#8217;s been four months since her culinary marathon came to a close.<\/p>\n<p>In her write up, Chef Dammy wrote; &#8220;<strong>By the time we are done with you, you will not be able to stand on your feet again\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>this was from the acclaimed \u201cpeople of God\u201d. Among many of the countless insults, curses, threats and bullying.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Now, I understand the content of 1 Peter 4:17, Surely judgment will begin from the house of God.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The first time the man of God tried to challenge my God he failed, then he told me to prepare for war.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>But these are the people of God,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Are they not supposed to be Godly?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Assuming I had died few days ago; people would\u2019ve understood better what I\u2019ve been facing, by the testimony of those around me.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>But I\u2019ll still try and bind my piece because it is a testimony that others can learn from<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I know about gods<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>that is why I chose the undefeatable God. Surely they shall gather,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>but they that be with me are more than they that be with them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u2019ve been in constant fear for my life.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Countless times they\u2019ve tried to destroy me as promised,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>but with God I keep moving as if nothing ever happened.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Shouldn\u2019t we have gotten over this?<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>I mean it\u2019s 4 months already,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>guess you will not stop until I stop breathing?
