{"id":148112,"date":"2023-11-07T09:05:41","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T09:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=148112"},"modified":"2023-11-07T09:05:41","modified_gmt":"2023-11-07T09:05:41","slug":"moses-bliss-father-ugwu-and-ekene-umenwas-bestie-mc-deacon-famous-engage-in-heated-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/11\/07\/moses-bliss-father-ugwu-and-ekene-umenwas-bestie-mc-deacon-famous-engage-in-heated-exchange\/","title":{"rendered":"Moses Bliss: Father Ugwu and Ekene Umenwa&#8217;s bestie\/MC, Deacon Famous engage in heated exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Father Kelvin Ugwu claps back at Deacon Famous, the MC at the actress, Ekene Umenwa&#8217;s wedding for tackling him over his stance on the movie star and gospel singer, Moses Bliss&#8217; encounter.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Recall that Father Ugwu had faulted Moses Bliss for not taking immediate action to correct the bride who appeared to be idolizing him, rather he was enjoying the show.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Firing back, Deacon Famous urged the Reverend Father to get off social media and concentrate solely on God&#8217;s work which subsequently prompted a strong response from the Padre.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Reverend Father, Kelvin Ugwu descended on Deacon Famous, the &#8216;bestie&#8217; of actress, Ekene Umenwa who was also the MC at her wedding reception for launching an attack at him over his stance on the Ekene and gospel singer, Moses Bliss&#8217; encounter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/11\/05\/he-was-enjoying-it-father-ugwu-speaks-on-ekene-umenwas-clingy-interaction-with-moses-bliss-at-wedding\/\"><strong>Father Ugwu who initially kicked against the interaction between the duo, apportioning blame to Moses Bliss for his failure to call the bride to order<\/strong><\/a>, was called out by Deacon Famous who advised him to get off social media and pursue the work of God zealously.<\/p>\n<p>Famous added that Father Ugwu turned a blind eye to the altar erected at the wedding and decided to speak on only the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Responding via a lengthy writeup on Facebook, the Padre took time to explain his point, slightly taking a swipe at Deacon Famous for his previous statements.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em><strong>Deacon_Famous<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>We can always agree to disagree, there is nothing wrong with that.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>Personally, I don&#8217;t have any problem with Ekene.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>She may be very emotional, some people are like that. It might even be one of the things her husband loves the most about her.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>Some of us feel she could have had better emotional control. But it does not matter. She did not commit any crime by being expressive as she did.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>I think all we owe them is prayers.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>As a priest, my concern was more on the singer\/minister.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>What was in my mind was:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>When you find yourself in a situation like that when a woman is literally in awe and excitement whether before or in the absence of her husband, what should a minister do?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>When you find yourself in a situation where it appears your followers see you as a god and are ready to roll on the ground just for you, what should the minister do?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>I brought out examples from scriptures that could help.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>So, the issue was never about the altar of Mary she erected at the reception hall or the number of priests that came for her wedding.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>And you leaving the issue at hand and asking me to leave Facebook to focus on the Lord&#8217;s work is just funny.<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>I have a lovely parish here online, in case you don&#8217;t know.
