The kids in return take parenting advice from the internet. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Yomi Fabiyi added that in a union, self control is key so violence isn\u2019t the order of the day, stating that that is the only reason he believes a marriage should end.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Controversial Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has said that domestic violence and gender-based are grounds for the dissolution of marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He stated this via his social media page while reacting to the viral video of Akwa Ibom-based lawyer, Ekere Ebong, who physically assaulted his wife at night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/03\/23\/months-after-call-out-yomi-fabiyis-ex-hails-him-for-being-a-responsible-father-to-their-child\/\">Fabiyi who is a father of one also said<\/a> that parents now spend too much time on social media instead of their children hence why many of them seem to be lacking discipline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The actor and activist noted that beating a woman turns him off, which is why he had never begged any woman to forgive her partner for assaulting her. He said<\/span><span class=\"s2\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cMarriage is not for everybody. Only a few have gone through proper home training lately. Most parents are on social media than in the lives of their children and teenagers. These wards, too, are on several toxic and criminal blogs every minute they are awake.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cThese blogs raise and mentor these kids. The percentage you invest in raising your child will be commensurate to how you benefit from the same child. Say no to domestic violence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201c\u2026As for me, it is only when you physically assault your partner, particularly a man beating a woman you lay with that I will suggest immediate separation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cBeating your lover turns me off. I have never begged a woman whose husband or fiance beats to reconcile. It\u2019s not my thing. I don\u2019t fancy such men (even though most claim they got provoked). Hear me out. My reasons include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cFirst, you don\u2019t hurt what you love. Secondly, the easiest way to find yourself in body bags is through domestic violence with partners. Thirdly, if kids are involved, it will destroy them. It is a serious abuse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cOnly a small fraction of such children will grow not to believe violence, torture, etc, are means of solving issues. Fourth, even if you are not caught, your hands will be stained with blood, and you are a murderer if you fight\/beat to death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cI would rather prefer you involve the Police immediately if you think your wife or girlfriend exhibits traces of violence or provoking you to turn violent. Self-control is key. Anger is controllable. Just act lawfully before you become a criminal. Don\u2019t give that partner the chance to provoke you so that you turn into a beast or woman beater.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cIf you indulge in violence and think involving the police is extreme, the moment you start trying to defend yourself and things go south, then you will realise the police will involve you, prison will embrace you and the very people you are considering will turn their back on you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cViolence will never produce love. Most lovers who make up after violence are hoodwinked, motivated, or controlled by something else but not love. Love, don\u2019t stay where it is tolerated. Love, don\u2019t grow where it hurts.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">In a similar post, <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Nigerian businesswoman and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/12\/20\/dont-get-married-its-a-scam-blossom-chukwujekwus-ex-wife-maureen-esisi-warns\/\">ex-wife to actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, Maureen Esisi, has advised young people against getting married.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The brand influencer asserted that marriage is a scam in a series of posts on her Snapchat account.
