{"id":154997,"date":"2023-12-29T17:11:15","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T17:11:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=154997"},"modified":"2023-12-29T17:11:15","modified_gmt":"2023-12-29T17:11:15","slug":"emeka-ikes-ex-wife-is-a-bad-mother-felix-duke-throws-weight-behind-actor-criticizes-shan-george","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/12\/29\/emeka-ikes-ex-wife-is-a-bad-mother-felix-duke-throws-weight-behind-actor-criticizes-shan-george\/","title":{"rendered":"Emeka Ike\u2019s ex-wife is a bad mother \u2013 Felix Duke throws weight behind actor, criticizes Shan George"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>One of Emeka Ike\u2019s close friends has shown support for him, claiming his ex-wife was lying against him, while accusing her of being a bad mother.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Felix Duke alleged that he knew about their issues and tried to help them reconcile to no avail. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Bashing Shan George for supporting the actor\u2019s wife, Emma, Duke stated that she doesn\u2019t even know details about the issues the ex-couple had\/have.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Friend of Emeka Ike and President of Creative Industry Group (CIG), Felix Duke has accused the veteran actor\u2019s ex-wife, Suzanne Emma, of being untruthful about issues in their now failed marriage and instigating their son against his father. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Duke disclosed this in a post via his official Instagram page hours ago, in response to the recent turmoil surrounding the collapse of the Nollywood actor\u2019s marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Its no news that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/12\/23\/emeka-ikes-ex-wife-suzanne-breaks-silence-tells-her-side-of-the-story-video\/\">Emeka Ike\u2019s ex-wife granted an interview where she accused the actor of physical assault.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He mentioned that he had been involved in attempts to resolve the marital crisis from the beginning, as Emeka was a close friend even before his marriage to Suzanne.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Duke claimed to have arranged a meeting with the former couple before they went to court, and they met at a hotel in Ogudu, Kosofe Local Government Area, Lagos State.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Despite Suzanne Emma acting like everything was fine during the meeting, Duke revealed that after she left, the couple fell back into a crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He emphasized that all his efforts to reconcile them were in vain, as Emma refused to heed his pleas, having already made up her mind to end the marriage for reasons known only to her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Felix Duke wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWhen Emma took Emeka to court, I was there. I went to court with Emeka. Emeka truly loved this woman but I believe she never loved him the way he loved her. From day one before Emeka met Emma, I have been friends with him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWhen he met Emma, he called me and told me, that it was so many years ago. He said there is this girl I met and I would want you to meet her and he brought Emma and introduced her to me. I was at their marriage when they had Micheal (first child), I was at the naming, Emeka was also at my marriage so many years ago. So we have been friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cI can tell you what Emeka went through. He was depressed after Emma left him, crying every day. I pet him and sometimes weep with him when he is crying.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWe kept praying together and I told him one day you will find love and he asked me: are you sure I will ever find love and I assured him he would.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cI followed Emeka to court and the judge told two of them to go outside the courtroom and talk and see if they can reconcile, but if they can\u2019t, then they come back in, and he declared his judgment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cWhen the judge told them that; myself, Emeka Ike and his wife, went out, and Emeka knelt down right in my presence to beg Emma, I even joined Emeka to beg her, but she refused.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cEmma abandoned the school to run down because she was already out of the marriage. Emeka did not know that she was out of the marriage. Emeka still thought that he had a wife in Emma<\/span><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Speaking on Emeka Ike\u2019s son, Michael\u2019s reaction, Duke stated:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHe will go on social media to insult his father. Tomorrow he will go and beg his father. How is he going to erase all the nonsense he already said on social media?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHe expects his father to forgive him and take him back after all these? His mother pushed him to go and say rubbish against his father. This is to show that Emma isn\u2019t a good woman. Who will want to do this to her son?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Calling out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/11\/08\/why-nobody-should-call-me-to-contribute-money-for-my-colleagues-shan-george-warns-video\/\">Shan George<\/a> for supporting Emma, Felix Duke added:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHas she visited Emeka Ike and his wife in their home at Magodo or did she ever visit their school?
