Even though Funke has had a lot of triumphs in her life, she has also had her share of failures &#8211; for example, two ended marriages.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_156830\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-156830\" style=\"width: 1242px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-156830\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/01\/IMG_0152.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1242\" height=\"1341\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/01\/IMG_0152.jpeg 1242w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/01\/IMG_0152-278x300.jpeg 278w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/01\/IMG_0152-948x1024.jpeg 948w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2024\/01\/IMG_0152-768x829.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1242px) 100vw, 1242px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-156830\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Funke Akindele<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Now, in a fresh interview with Joyce on Wazobia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/11\/28\/funke-akindele-fathia-williams-hop-on-viral-challenge-dance-energetically-in-different-attires-video\/\">Funke Akindele<\/a> spoke about these &#8220;failures&#8221; and why she doesn&#8217;t even see them as such. <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Funke Akindele said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cIf you don&#8217;t fail, you can&#8217;t be successful. You have to keep trying. Like when a child is trying to walk, the child will walk small and just fall off. So it&#8217;s normal for you to fall but you just have to pick yourself and rise again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">For me, I see failure, I see challenges, I see obstacles, as part of life. My mum raised me like that. My mum will say if you do not fail, if you do not fall, you cannot succeed. So you have to keep going. And note, I do not even see the failures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">If you ask me now can you tell me one failure, I don&#8217;t see it as a failure. My personal life &#8211; marriage, I just take it as it comes. My mental health is very important. My career is very important, darling. I have to make an impact. I have to empower a lot of people. I have to inspire young people out there. I have to stay strong for my children and my siblings. Why am I living? I have a purpose, so my head is up.
