But actually, a wedding day is supposed to be a somber day. He said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe families can rejoice because one family is gaining a daughter and the other is gaining a son. They can celebrate, but the couple should be somber because they are saying, \u2018I am giving up my independence to live my life with this person.\u2019 It\u2019s a commitment to a lifetime of service and love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Akah Nnani added:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt\u2019s a somber day of reflection, like \u2018Wow, I\u2019m giving away my independence.\u2019 If you understand what you\u2019re doing, you shouldn\u2019t be dancing wildly on your wedding day.
