Kanayo recently voiced his frustration\u00a0 Angel Unigwe and her mother. In a video he shared online, the seasoned actor recounted how Angel, with her mother\u2019s support, allegedly violated their contract by leaving his set prematurely.<\/p>\n<p>The thespian declared\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/06\/22\/angel-unigwe-breaks-silence-ignores-kanayo-o-kanayos-threat-to-blacklist-her-faces-pressure-to-apologize\/\">his intention to blacklist the young actress and pledged to sabotage any movie set she appears on.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In response to the allegations, Angel Unigwe&#8217;s mother categorically refuted the false accusations and defamatory remarks made by Mr. Kanayo in his video.<\/p>\n<p>She emphasized their unwavering respect for the terms of any contract they sign, affirming their commitment to fulfilling all legal obligations.<\/p>\n<p>Angel Unigwe&#8217;s mother vividly recounts the sequence of events spanning June 17th to June 19th, 2024, during which Angel was involved in Kanayo&#8217;s film project under specific agreements, notably wrapping up filming by 9pm daily.<\/p>\n<p>She said despite initial doubts about completing fifty-seven scenes within three days, they proceeded based on assurances from Mr. Kanayo O. Kanayo and his movie director that the timeframe would suffice.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, on the final day, filming extended beyond 9pm by an additional 45-50 minutes, a gesture of goodwill on their part. She reteirated that they left the location after fulfilling their obligations, without any objections from his director or\u00a0 production manager.<\/p>\n<p>Her words;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;As a background to the events that led to this, between the 17th of June 2024 and the 19th of June 2024, Miss Unigwe participated in a film project under clear and agreed terms, most important of all being a daily wrap time of 9pm. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Despite our concerns about the feasibility of filming fifty-seven (57} scenes in three (3} days, we proceeded based on the assurances we received from Mr. Kanayo O. Kanayo and his director, in person of Ndifreke Matthew, that the three days period will be sufficient for shooting and that the talent&#8217;s shooting time of 12 hours starting from 9am to 9pm is acceptable to them, moreso there will be no extension considering her prior engagement. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;On the final day, despite the agreed terms regarding wrap up time of 9pm, we accommodated an additional 45-50 minutes of filming beyond the agreed time, which was done out of the spirit of goodwill and understanding that had existed between us, Mr. Kanayo and the film Director. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Upon completion of the shoot, we left the location without protest from the director or the production Manager Mr Cosmos Nwaihe, having performed our obligations.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Unigwe expressed profound shock upon discovering the accusations made by Mr. Kanayo in the video.
