{"id":177864,"date":"2024-07-05T04:10:46","date_gmt":"2024-07-05T04:10:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=177864"},"modified":"2024-07-05T04:19:02","modified_gmt":"2024-07-05T04:19:02","slug":"police-arrest-biola-bayos-podcast-guest-who-claimed-to-sleep-with-dogs-after-faking-her-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/07\/05\/police-arrest-biola-bayos-podcast-guest-who-claimed-to-sleep-with-dogs-after-faking-her-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Police arrest Biola Bayo\u2019s podcast guest who claimed to sleep with dogs for faking her death"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><strong>Biola Bayo\u2019s guest who confessed to sleeping with dogs on the actress\u2019s podcast show and attempted fake suicide has been arrested by the police.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">The actress who broke down on social media after discovering her guest allegedly committed suicide alerted the authorities when she noticed discrepancies regarding her guest\u2019s supposed death.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">The police have arrested Adenike Adewodun, a woman who claimed to have had sex with dogs on Talk to B, a podcast hosted by actress Biola Adebayo, for conspiracy and attempted obtaining by false pretence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Last month, Ms Adewodun recalled her ugly past experiences \u2014 including sexual molestation as a teenager.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">She, however, came under criticism on social media after a video of the interview where she admitted that she slept with two dogs to satisfy her sexual urges went viral.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Hours after the interview, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/06\/09\/biola-bayo-in-uncontrollable-tears-after-mystery-lady-she-interviewed-takes-her-life-on-same-day-video\/\">Biola said in an Instagram post that she got word from a friend of Adewodun that she had taken her own life.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The actress also suggested that the criticism she might have received after her confession might have contributed to her death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">However, on Thursday, July 4, Biola revealed in a statement shared on social media that she found out Adewodun faked her death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The statement reads:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe case of Miss Adenike, while tragic, is a learning curve for us. She sent a message and was asked to come and we offered to get her therapy and all but she freaked out and in a very devilish and ungodly manner faked her own death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAfter the fake death news, we have tried to locate her house to properly express our deepest condolences but it was difficult to even pen a condolence letter, and the presenter and producer Abiola Adebayo was both emotionally and mentally disturbed for days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIn the course of properly mourning her, we noticed some discrepancies in what her so-called \u2018sister\u2019 was telling us and what her friend was saying and because we felt something was amiss. We dispatched the Director of the show on a fact finding mission who spoke with the friend before he traced the hospital where she was supposed to have been treated and we were told there and then that she didn\u2019t die.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAfter this discovery, a petition was written by our attorney to the police to complain about the situation, and promptly, the Police investigated and arrested both Nike and her friend.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe Police were also set to prosecute, and upon interrogation, Nike, who admitted that she was the one who approached Biola for the interview said she freaked out because people recognised her and said she felt that if she lied that she was dead Biola would remove the video.
