Subsequent clips feature various media outlets discussing the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The actress captioned the post:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cShame! Shame! Shame! APC, why did you send no prosecution to court? Lagos state, why did you refuse to investigate this matter? Why did you turn Lagos into a criminal city? Who ordered the removal of this criminal case in court? Why did the market women mention gold and fake transfer?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In February, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/02\/07\/alleged-theft-lizzy-anjorin-narrates-what-transpired-at-eko-market-shares-proof-video\/\">Lizzy addressed the allegation, explaining that the incident stemmed from a failed N91,000 transfer for beauty accessories she purchased late in 2023.<\/a> She claimed her husband accidentally sent the money to the wrong account, leading to the misunderstanding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201c<em><strong>At Tom Jones, do they sell gold there? That place is Tom Jones, where we buy wedding materials, all these \u2018para para\u2019 (cheap) stones that we use for clothes. So, I cannot go to Idumota to buy accessories in peace, abi?\u201d<\/strong><\/em> she questioned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Following the incident, six traders were arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos Island for allegedly assaulting Lizzy, causing her bodily harm.
