Simi said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI don\u2019t listen to anybody\u2019s music, the reason I listen to my husband\u2019s songs is because I\u2019m married to him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI like Post Malone\u2019s first album \u2018Beerbongs &amp; Bentleys\u2019. love J.Cole. I don\u2019t listen to anybody\u2019s music. Nothing changed. I just don\u2019t know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI don\u2019t really listen to anybody\u2019s music. The reason I\u2019m listening to my album now is because it just came out. In few weeks, I probably won\u2019t listen to it as much as I do now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A week ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/07\/09\/ill-wear-kaftan-to-pool-next-time-simi-promises-apologizes-to-critics-over-indecent-swimsuit-video\/\">Simi tendered an apology sarcastically after she was criticized by netizens. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On Monday June 8, Simi shared a video of herself at the poolside, having fun with a bunch of friends. She held onto a microphone while free styling in her revealing swimsuit. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The comment section of the post was filled with critics who trolled the mother of one for wearing a swimsuit that showed off some parts of her body. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Many pointed out that since the \u2018Duduke\u2019 crooner is married, it is wrong for her to wear a swimsuit, poolside or not. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In response, Simi the following day shared another video apologizing for not knowing better and appealing to do better next time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She emphasized that it was an error on her part and promised not to ever repeat that sort of outfit. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/07\/09\/ill-wear-kaftan-to-pool-next-time-simi-promises-apologizes-to-critics-over-indecent-swimsuit-video\/\"><strong>Simi who pretended to be in tears assured the trolls that she will put on a kaftan next time and sit by the poolside out of respect for her husband and their sacred marriage. <\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Songstress Simi has opened up on the kind of music that she loves and listens to.
