That&#8217;s it&#8221; <\/em><\/strong>she said.<\/p>\n<p>Gomez has been open about her health struggles, including her lupus diagnosis, which led to a career break in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>She also underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 as a result of her condition.<\/p>\n<p>Selena Gomez had earlier revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/05\/31\/i-plan-to-adopt-kids-if-im-single-at-35-selena-gomez\/\">she plan to adopt kids if she is single at 35<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 31 year old singer revealed that her decision to adopt was influenced by her five-year period of being single before starting a romantic relationship with producer and songwriter Benny Blanco last year.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview with Time Magazine, Selena Gomez opened up about her struggle with loneliness and the process of accepting her singlehood.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was alone for five years, and I got really used to it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it.
