I didn\u2019t really know what I was missing. So now that I waited this long to date people, I have very high standards. If it\u2019s gonna be hard to meet it, it\u2019s gonna be bye-bye. But also, I don\u2019t have time for myself, talk less of a boy,\u201d<\/em><\/strong> she said.<\/p>\n<p>Ayra Starr had earlier<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/09\/09\/like-tems-ayra-starr-says-she-has-never-fallen-in-love\/\"> revealed that she has never fallen in love<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star spoke about her love life in a recent interview with Dazed Magazine.<\/p>\n<p>Ayra Starr admitted that despite being identified as a \u201clover girl,\u201d she has never been in a fully committed relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old Mavin Records sensation, also attributed her single status to her intense focus on music since age 15. Ayra Starr said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to fall in love. I wrote \u2018Lagos Love Story\u2019 about what love would look like if I was. I am a lover girl deep in my heart, I\u2019m just very strong headed about it. I actually have never been in love. I have been in certain situations \u2013 not situationships! \u2013 but I have never been in a fully committed relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve put myself out there and I\u2019ve tried to see what\u2019s there but I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve had the time. I\u2019ve been working since I was 15, I was modelling, I was doing university, and now I\u2019m on the road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s me just enjoying myself as a girl.
