{"id":193289,"date":"2024-10-28T15:44:17","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T15:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=193289"},"modified":"2024-10-28T15:50:12","modified_gmt":"2024-10-28T15:50:12","slug":"foluke-daramolas-husband-confirms-marriage-to-third-wife-sons-birth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/10\/28\/foluke-daramolas-husband-confirms-marriage-to-third-wife-sons-birth\/","title":{"rendered":"Foluke Daramola\u2019s husband confirms marriage to new wife, son\u2019s birth"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Kayode Salako, Foluke Daramola&#8217;s husband has confirmed that he now has a new wife, in a social media post.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">He added that bloggers had been taunting him over the new wife and her son as he tried to clarify issues.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Salako also shared the role his actress wife played in him getting a third wife and the relationship she shares with the woman<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Politician Kayode Salako has addressed rumours surrounding his marital life, clarifying that he has indeed taken another wife, with the blessing of his actress wife, Foluke Daramola. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Although the couple have been married for 13 years, they have no children together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In a Facebook post titled \u201cFoluke is involved!\u201d, Salako shared insights into their relationship, stating that he spent years seeking Foluke\u2019s understanding about his desire to have children who will be with him in Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He explained in part:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt took me 3 years of begging Foluke Daramola-Salako, my wife, to allow me to have at least one or two children here in Nigeria, for the security of my old age.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Salako expressed his hopes of living a life surrounded by family, noting his love for children and desire for companionship in his later years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The former chairman of Labour Party (Lagos chapter) further explained how Foluke eventually agreed to his request, thanks in part to the involvement of her mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Following this, Salako met Oluwafunke Salako, who is now his second wife and the mother of their young son, Murewa Salako.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He elaborated on his current family arrangement, describing how Foluke and Funke share a close relationship, even celebrating Murewa\u2019s milestones together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Salako also clarified that his older children reside in America with their mother, making Murewa the only child with him in Nigeria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reflecting on his journey, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cFoluke has been involved from the beginning. This happened with her understanding and permission. I want to live and die surrounded by my children.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2023\/03\/31\/she-left-him-actress-foluke-daramola-opens-up-on-husband-snatching-claims-video\/\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2023, Foluke was accused of breaking up Salako\u2019s former marriage, a claim she denied.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She acknowledged, however, that her husband is a polygamist with children from various relationships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The couple got married in 2010.
