Nollywood has lost another star.<\/p>\n
Actress, Doris Chima has died after battling breast cancer. She\u00a0was diagnosed with the ailment in 2020 and her breast was cut off to prevent further damage.<\/p>\n
Her death was confirmed by the Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, Emeka Rising Ibe, on Monday.<\/p>\n
Ibe who expressed sadness over the death said the deceased was a dedicated member and a good woman.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe called me last week and pleaded due to ill health not to remove her from the verification exercise I embarked on to ascertain true members of the guild in Lagos,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201dYesterday morning, I got a call that she was dead. Though I am yet to visit the family, it is a great loss for us. I pray for the repose of her soul.May her soul rest in peace, Amen. \u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
