It is left for those in power to work harder to give us a better Nigeria. We need to build a better Nigeria,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said partly.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSome people say he should apologize; apologize for what? He\u2019s a Nigerian and he made his statement in good faith. Those who criticize us wants the best out of us. Davido and his family can feed well but he speaks for other Nigerians who cannot,\u201d <\/em>he added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In other news, Afrobeats star, David popularly known as Davido\u00a0has taken to social media to cry out over an<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/11\/27\/davido-cries-out-over-plot-to-cancel-his-show-over-recent-interview\/\"><strong> unfavourable plot against him.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle with millions of followers, the singer who recently granted an interview where he trashed Nigeria\u2019s economy, saying that it\u2019s in shambles, averred that some kingpins want to cancel his incoming show in Lagos on December 24th because of what he said during the interview.<\/p>\n<p>Davido in the interview had discouraged Nigerians abroad from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/11\/27\/davido-cries-out-over-plot-to-cancel-his-show-over-recent-interview\/\"><strong> returning home, stating that it wasn\u2019t cool back home.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nollywood veteran Kanayo O.
