{"id":201468,"date":"2024-12-28T16:41:57","date_gmt":"2024-12-28T16:41:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=201468"},"modified":"2024-12-28T16:41:57","modified_gmt":"2024-12-28T16:41:57","slug":"some-cinemas-are-discouraging-fans-from-watching-my-movie-mercy-aigbe-cries-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/12\/28\/some-cinemas-are-discouraging-fans-from-watching-my-movie-mercy-aigbe-cries-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Some cinemas are discouraging fans from watching my movie \u2013 Mercy Aigbe cries out"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Mercy Aigbe has lamented how some staff working at the cinema has been discouraging fans from watching her film Thin Line.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">In a post on social media, she shared some messages she got from people, who were turned back at some cinemas. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Her post sparked reactions from fans in the comment section and they shared their cinema experience as well as their views.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has shared her grievances about the way some people working at the cinema have reportedly been discouraging fans from watching her latest movie, Thin Line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The mother of two, who premiered her film, weeks ago shared the messages she got from some people, who visited the Maryland mall to watch her movie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In her post, one of the staffers allegedly advised the person to watch &#8216;Waiter&#8217; instead of Thin Line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to the person, the air conditioner was not working well in the hall where Thin Line was showing. The person then shared how she went to another cinema and was given the same excuse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to what the movie star who recently lost properties to an inferno shared, Jamiu Azeez, Aigbe&#8217;s colleague, who went for Meet and Greet at the cinema also disclosed his experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">According to him, he was told that the air conditioner was not working in the hall where Thinline was showing in Maryland mall. The actor added that he had to beg fans to watch the film like that but many were disappointed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Aigbe noted how sad it is for investors to get such negative feedbacks. This comes shortly after filmmaker and actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/12\/24\/funke-akindele-its-not-a-shade-toyin-abraham-firmly-states-following-criticism-from-fans\/\">Toyin Abraham called out some cinemas<\/a>, hell-bent on destroying moviemaker&#8217;s effort and success with their attitude.
