\/>\n<p>Popular Nollywood actor<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/tag\/lateef-adedimeji\"> Lateef Adedimeji<\/a><\/strong>, alongside his wife, Adebimpe, has received the backing of the Ekiti State Government to produce an epic movie on the historic Ekiti Parapo War.<\/p>\n<p>The movie aims to depict the struggle and eventual triumph of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/?s=ekiti\">Ekiti<\/a> <\/strong>people over oppression, using a world-class production approach to bring the story to life.<\/p>\n<p>This announcement was made by Yinka Oyebode, the Special Adviser on Media to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, during a statement released on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Oyebanji gave his approval for the project during a meeting held on Monday in Ado-Ekiti.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-205474 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/01\/Screenshot-2025-01-28-172739.png\" alt=\"Lateef Adedimeji set to produce film on Ekiti Parapo War with production is a collaboration between the Ekiti State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy and AL Notions Film Company, which is owned by the Nollywood couple.<\/p>\n<p>According to Oyebode, the project will be privately funded and spearheaded by AL Notions Film Company, the same team behind the acclaimed film <em>Lisabi: The Uprising<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>It will feature a partnership with a team from the Ekiti State Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, led by the Commissioner, Professor Rasaki Ojo Bakare, a renowned artistic director in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Adebimpe Adedimeji, who hails from Ijero-Ekiti, expressed excitement about the project, stating that she and her husband are fully committed to ensuring its success.<\/p>\n<p>The couple pledged to dedicate their utmost attention to the production, which will highlight Ekiti towns and villages as major filming locations.<\/p>\n<p>The film is expected to involve several talented actors, including those of Ekiti
