{"id":206927,"date":"2025-02-09T09:58:55","date_gmt":"2025-02-09T09:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=206927"},"modified":"2025-02-09T09:58:55","modified_gmt":"2025-02-09T09:58:55","slug":"portables-sister-apologizes-for-singers-errant-behavior-claims-hes-under-spell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/02\/09\/portables-sister-apologizes-for-singers-errant-behavior-claims-hes-under-spell\/","title":{"rendered":"Portable\u2019s sister apologizes for singer\u2019s errant behavior, claims he\u2019s under spell"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>Portable\u2019s elder sister has apologized on behalf of the controversial singer.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">This comes following his alleged clash with Ogun State government officials after they shut down his restaurant and bar. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">The singer\u2019s sister claimed her brother is under a spell, hence his misbehavior.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Gbemisola, the elder sister of Nigerian controversial musician, Portable, has claimed that her embattled brother is under the spiritual spell of one of their family members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Gbemisola made this claim following the singer\u2019s ongoing legal battle with the Ogun state government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Recall the Ogun state government on Thursday arraigned Portable who is currently at large for assaulting the officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He was arraigned with nine of his associates before Abeokuta Magistrates\u2019 Court by the state police command.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">However, speaking from his hide-out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/02\/08\/i-didnt-fight-anyone-portable-denies-assaulting-ogun-govt-officials-video\/\">the singer pleaded with the government to release his associates from detention, stating that he is being \u201cset-up by some certain individuals\u201d.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While challenging the officers to provide video evidence of the alleged assault, Portable further warned that he might take his own life following the overwhelming frustration caused by the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to the development in a viral video circulating on X, Portable\u2019s sister apologised for his controversial actions, alleging that a family member is spiritually influencing the singer. In her words:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cPeople of Nigeria, I greet you all. I\u2019m Portable\u2019s eldest sister, the first child of his mother. We are just three that our mother gave birth to.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cPortable has never steal before. I have never come out like this to speak, and he hasn\u2019t even posted me despite being his sister. But he is the only one taking care of the family.
