In her words:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI remember I was singing at the deepest and the top of my voice. I remember I was crying so deeply like I didn\u2019t mind that my maid and domestic workers were around. I was telling God it\u2019s either you take my life at this moment or you fulfill that promise which you have promised me. If there is anything positive about my life that is remaining I think this is the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I cried and told God I was tired. I knew how many medical checkups I had gone through. I know the amount of surgeries I have had. So, if this thing will still happen, I told God to let it happen. If it\u2019s not going to happen He should kill me\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_208886\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-208886\" style=\"width: 1242px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-208886\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1242\" height=\"1366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199.jpeg 1242w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199-273x300.jpeg 273w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199-931x1024.jpeg 931w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/02\/IMG_1199-768x845.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1242px) 100vw, 1242px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-208886\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dayo Amusa and son<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2024\/11\/18\/dayo-amusa-welcomes-baby-boy-in-the-us\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Dayo Amusa welcomed her son, Oluwafirewamiri, in the United States on 18th November 2024.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">On the eve of 2025, the actress made her indelible mark on the year 2024 before it came to an end. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/01\/01\/had-3-miscarriages-failed-ivf-told-to-remove-womb-dayo-amusa-weeks-after-birthing-1st-child-at-41\/\">She shared how she suffered miscarriages, failed IVFs, health complications, was recommended to have her womb removed by doctors, cheated on by her lovers<\/a> and so much more before her bundle of joy arrived. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In a series of detailed posts on her Instagram account on Tuesday, December 31, just hours before the new year, the actress revealed how she overcame three miscarriages, personal setbacks, and a diagnosis of uterine myomatosis in 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She recounted that following her diagnosis, some doctors advised her to have her womb removed due to recurring complications and debilitating menstrual pain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Refusing to give up on her dream of motherhood, Amusa sought alternative treatments and eventually travelled to the United Kingdom, where she underwent surgery to remove the tumours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She continued that in 2016, she discovered that one of her fallopian tubes was damaged, making natural conception nearly impossible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The actress noted that the struggles persisted in 2019, as a failed IVF attempt and further heartbreak caused her relationship to collapse when her partner proposed having a child with someone else.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She revealed that these setbacks left her frustrated and depressed, causing her to withdraw from family, friends, and her career.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She credited her mother for recognising her deteriorating mental health and encouraging her to relocate to the United States in 2021 for a fresh start.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/01\/01\/had-3-miscarriages-failed-ivf-told-to-remove-womb-dayo-amusa-weeks-after-birthing-1st-child-at-41\/\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Reflecting on her journey, Amusa expressed gratitude to God and those who supported her during her trials.<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dayo Amusa has again opened up on her years of struggle with infertility.
