The prosecuting counsel, Larry Peters Aso, pushed for a trial date and sought his remand in a correctional facility.<\/p>\n<p>Defense counsel Inibehe Effiong countered with a pending bail application, asked that Jude remain in EFCC custody until the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Aso fired back, painted a grim picture of overcrowded EFCC cells and pressed for his transfer to a correctional center.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Owoeye, however, set the bail hearing for February 28 and fixed April 14 for trial. In a swift move, he ordered Jude&#8217;s remand at the Ikoyi correctional facility.<\/p>\n<p>Amidst this unfolding saga, Cynthia Morgan, who once publicly accused Jude of denying her royalties and stifling her career, saw her moment.<\/p>\n<p>With a blend of irony and vindication, she took to social media, throwing a biting jab.
