They ridiculed her nose, calling her ugly, and even questioning why he hadn\u2019t paid for cosmetic surgery on her behalf.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_212333\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-212333\" style=\"width: 1242px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-212333\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/IMG_5670.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1242\" height=\"1490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/IMG_5670.jpeg 1242w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/IMG_5670-250x300.jpeg 250w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/IMG_5670-854x1024.jpeg 854w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/06\/IMG_5670-768x921.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1242px) 100vw, 1242px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-212333\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zicsaloma<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The skit maker, visibly disappointed, took to social media to call out the insensitive reactions. While he maintained that the negative comments didn\u2019t get to him personally, he found it \u201c<em>unacceptable<\/em>\u201d that his mother, who is a 70-something-year-old woman undergoing chemotherapy, was being attacked online. He said in part:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI saw some comments saying my mum\u2019s nose is big, asking me, \u2018Why you no do surgery for her?\u2019 People were saying my mother is ugly. You\u2019re saying this about a woman who is over 70 years old, fighting a terminal illness like cancer. I wish most of you saying all these negative things about my mum will get to 70 years and look as good as she does.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Zicsaloma didn\u2019t hold back as he slammed what he described as a \u201c<em>finished generation<\/em>,\u201d questioning the values, empathy, and critical thinking of young Nigerians both at home and abroad. He went as far as linking the behavior to the country\u2019s socio-political issues. He fumed:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThis generation is finished. That is why sometimes I say we deserve what we get in this country\u2026 People who reason like this \u2014 how can they vote for a good government?
