She revealed that she had a liposuction and BBL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Temitope was quick to add that the surgeries were for her, not for any man or industry pressure. She told Biola Bayo:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI love fashion. I love to dress up. But my body didn\u2019t align with my style. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I did the procedure to feel better in my own skin. I wanted my smile to reflect how I feel inside,\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>she said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Despite fears of backlash, the response to her transformation has been overwhelmingly positive. She said proudly:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cPeople tell me I look good \u2014 both online and in real life. She recalled:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI said, \u2018Why did you sold me out,\u2019 instead of \u2018Why did you \u2018sell\u2019 me out\u2019. Fellow crew should have corrected me on set but they didn\u2019t. And the internet didn\u2019t let it go. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt hurt because we forgive people who make mistakes in Yoruba, but drag those who mess up in English and English isn\u2019t even our language!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Now, Temitope revealed she is learning to tune out the noise and lean into self-love. \u201c<em><strong>I don\u2019t let people\u2019s opinions define me anymore.
