The news has sparked outrage across social media, with many questioning whether justice is being served.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">On Thursday, the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikoyi ordered Iguma\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/03\/04\/peter-please-have-mercy-fans-plead-as-jude-okoye-gets-remanded-over-fresh-fraud-charges-hours-after-bail\/\">remand until Monday, following his arrest and detention at<\/a> Panti Police Station the day before. According to him, more victims were still reaching out, and 30 additional cases had yet to be officially filed. He alleged:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cPWAN sells receipts for customers instead of land\u2026 Day after day, more victims are still coming to my DM and telling me the atrocities they have gone through.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">But what truly ignited public concern was a video posted on Instagram by Nigerian singer Kokopee, who was present at the court premises in Ikoyi. Kokopee said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cScott has been remanded till Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHe has been remanded for fighting for people. You have a problem with the way he\u2019s done it? Did he kill someone? Did he commit a crime?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cIn Lagos, I thought they said defamation is not a crime?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The video quickly went viral, with many rallying behind Iguma, describing him as someone using his platform to expose alleged corporate fraud in the real estate sector.
