{"id":214758,"date":"2025-07-26T06:34:06","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T06:34:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=214758"},"modified":"2025-07-26T06:34:06","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T06:34:06","slug":"tiktok-bans-actor-jigans-page-after-vdm-accused-him-of-being-in-group-that-leaked-nudes-sent-him-to-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/07\/26\/tiktok-bans-actor-jigans-page-after-vdm-accused-him-of-being-in-group-that-leaked-nudes-sent-him-to-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"TikTok bans actor Jigan\u2019s page after VDM accused him of being in group that leaked nudes, sent him to prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Things are heating up again in the Mohbad justice saga, and this time, actor Jigan Baba Oja is right in the middle of it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Just hours after VeryDarkMan (VDM) accused him of being a member of a WhatsApp group that allegedly leaked his nudes and orchestrated his arrest, angry Nigerians stormed Jigan\u2019s TikTok page and got it taken down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">VDM had earlier alleged that after Mohbad\u2019s death, a WhatsApp group was created with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/07\/17\/drama-as-lizzy-anjorin-marks-wedding-anniversary-by-accusing-iyabo-ojo-of-attempted-kidnap-lies-stalking\/\">Iyabo Ojo<\/a> as the admin. According to him, the group allegedly included Davido\u2019s PRO Dre, Tonto Dikeh, K-Solo, Samklef, Aloma, Jigan, Iyabo\u2019s lawyer, and Bella Shmurda\u2019s rep Pumping.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_213551\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-213551\" style=\"width: 415px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-213551\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/07\/IMG_7268.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"739\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/07\/IMG_7268.jpeg 415w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2025\/07\/IMG_7268-168x300.jpeg 168w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-213551\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jigan Baba Oja<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">VDM claimed the same platform was used to spread false narratives, blackmail him, and cover up Mohbad\u2019s real cause of death. He also claimed two people in the group knew what truly happened to Mohbad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Reacting to the bombshell, Jigan took to TikTok Live to defend himself. Jigan said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI joined that group because I genuinely wanted justice for Mohbad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThe group was created two weeks after he died. I was careful not to accuse anyone. I was only trying to find out the truth.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He also added that he later got tired when it became clear that justice wasn\u2019t coming, so he went silent. He continued:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNothing is hidden in the group. We were only talking about how to get Justice but when I saw that Justice was not forthcoming, I got tired and stopped talking in the group.<\/p>\n<p>Verydarkman I don&#8217;t know anything about Mohbad&#8217;s demise. You and l are doing the same job of helping people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIf I hadn\u2019t joined the group and Mohbad eventually got justice, people would say I didn\u2019t care. I\u2019ve always fought for him on my page.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Despite his explanation, the backlash was swift. Nigerians reported his TikTok account en masse, and by Friday night, his page was banned.
