She revealed that her involvement in the Justice for Mohbad movement stemmed from genuine concern and a civic obligation, not from any underhanded motives.<\/p>\n<p>According to Iyabo, she had initially called on other celebrities to join the cause publicly, stressing that she could not fight alone. Two separate groups, she claimed, were created, one to coordinate a peaceful walk and another, tagged \u201cConcerned Citizens,\u201d to continue advocacy efforts after the walk was cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>She listed the progress made: Mohbad\u2019s body was exhumed, a coroner\u2019s inquest was launched, and several individuals named in Mohbad\u2019s petition were questioned. \u201cWe lent our voices and pushed for justice as concerned citizens,\u201d she stated. \u201cWe achieved some goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the matter of VeryDarkMan\u2019s arrest, the actress clarified her involvement. She revealed that although she filed an initial petition for defamation, it was not pursued due to an intervention by her partner, Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>She also stated that her name appeared in a second petition only in the capacity of a witness, following what she described as repeated false accusations from VDM.<\/p>\n<p>Iyabo Ojo concluded her remarks with a call for continued civic focus, urging Nigerians who are committed to justice for Mohbad to stay persistent in monitoring the legal process and pushing for transparency and accountability.
