He said:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAt the end of the day, when you\u2019re not ready, you\u2019re not ready. Everybody\u2019s timeline is different.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">MI admitted that in his late 30s, he sometimes felt a twinge of regret when comparing himself to friends who had tied the knot much earlier and already had teenage or grown-up children. MI continued:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI felt a little bad about being unmarried when I was 37 because my friend who got married at 25, 26 now has 14-year-old kids. Jesse has a 21-year-old child, and I don\u2019t have any kids yet, so you miss out on some of that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">But any lingering regrets disappeared when he met his wife, Eniola Mafe, whom he described as a \u201cdivine blessing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">MI recalled meeting Eniola in 2020 shortly after leaving a previous relationship. She attended his 40th birthday, and by then, he knew she was the one. He disclosed:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI asked her to marry me, and we got married when I was 41.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">M.I Abaga and the love of his life, Eniola Mafe tied the knot traditionally on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Sharing their beautiful proposal video on Instagram, on said day, M.I wrote: \u201c<em>I\u2019m getting married today.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The couple had their white wedding on Saturday, September 24, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Meanwhile, new<\/span>\u00a0photos have surfaced from the private <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/07\/31\/first-photos-emerge-from-2babas-secret-wedding-to-natasha-osawaru\/\">traditional wedding of legendary Nigerian singer Innocent \u201c2Baba\u201d Idibia and Edo-born politician Hon.
