Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has opened up about why she remains unmarried at 52, revealing that her single status is not by choice.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, the actress disclosed that she has no children and has not yet found the right person to spend her life with. She shared that she once met someone she believed was \u201cthe one,\u201d but he passed away, and she has not met anyone else since.<\/span><\/p>\n

Akintola, whose mother is from Edo State and father from Oyo State, described marriage as a sacred union that should be done in the house of God, surrounded by loved ones. She stressed that honesty and truth are central to her values, and she would never marry unless she was sure she could stay with the person for life. She said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI want everything to be in truthfulness. I want to be true to myself and to God. If I meet the right person, even at 78, I would get married.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While Akintola believes marriage does not define a woman\u2019s worth, she admitted it becomes more important as one grows older, especially for companionship when children have moved on with their own lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other news, afrobeats superstar Davido unveiled a fresh tattoo dedicated to his fianc\u00e9e, Chioma Rowland, prior their wedding which took place on August 10. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

In a video from the couple\u2019s pre-wedding photoshoot session, the singer is seen lifting his glittering black jacket to reveal the ink. The name \u201cChioma\u201d is etched in cursive on the left side of his torso.<\/span><\/p>\n

Davido appeared in high spirits during the shoot, smiling as he proudly displayed the tribute. The couple, who share two children, have been in the spotlight throughout the week with a series of lavish pre-wedding celebrations.<\/span><\/p>\n
