What pushed us was hunger for the craft. According to her, many new-generation actors are more preoccupied with physical appearance than the art itself. She observed:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cNow, the focus is on makeup, fashion, and looking glamorous. Some are even going for BBLs just to fit into the industry\u2019s idea of beauty.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">While acknowledging Nollywood\u2019s growth and global reach, Akintola stressed that the soul of the industry should never be lost to vanity. For her, true acting still lies in passion, grit, and the commitment to bringing characters to life, no matter the sacrifice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Meanwhile, in July, Temitope Solaja \u2018Aruga\u2019 in the most candid part of her Talk to B interview with Biola Bayo, set the record straight and confirmed what many had speculated. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2025\/07\/16\/i-did-bbl-lipo-and-fixed-my-teeth-temitope-solaja-opens-up-about-surgery-online-trolling\/\">She revealed that she had a liposuction and BBL.<\/a> Temitope was quick to add that the surgeries were for her, not for any man or industry pressure. She told Biola Bayo:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI love fashion. I love to dress up. But my body didn\u2019t align with my style. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I did the procedure to feel better in my own skin. When I dress, I want to look in the mirror and say, \u2018Girl, you look good.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Temitope also fixed her teeth, after an accident left her feeling insecure.<em> \u201cI smile a lot.
