Afrobeats, a music genre berthed by African musicians, will induct its first-ever hall of fame members to celebrate artistes and contributors of Afro music.<\/h4>\n

Organisers of the Afrobeats<\/a> Hall of Fame event made this known in Abuja on Thursday, November 4, 2021, as reported by NAN.<\/p>\n

The event\u2019s media conference would hold on November 11 as a prelude to the main event, which had been slated to hold before the end of 2021. This is first of its kind induction and award ceremony created to recognise and celebrate the historic and cultural significance of Afro music.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ABHF honours the artistry, and the contributions made by those who have played major roles in the dissemination and creation of music in the Nigerian entertainment industry and Africa at large,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe media parley, which brings together key stakeholders in the music and media industry, will feature a fireside chat with leading names,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith media representatives from across TV, radio, print and digital platforms in attendance, the parley will, among other things, shed more light on the upcoming Afrobeat Hall of Fame induction ceremony scheduled for the end of the year.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
