Nigerian musician Davido has revealed he has a significant relationship with business mogul and the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote.<\/h4>\n

The \u2018Aye\u2019 crooner disclosed this while speaking in a conversation with Earn Your Leisure podcast. Davido stated Dangote was there for him when he was born.<\/p>\n

\u201cDangote drove me home from the hospital when I was born,\u201d Davido said.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old global superstar added that Dangote always advises him to save his money anytime they see. \u201cAnytime I see Uncle Aliko, he tells me, David, save your money\u201d, he declared.<\/p>\n

Davido<\/a> recalled he wasn\u2019t welcomed in the Nigerian music industry when he initially started his music career because of his rich background. Hoping the younger generation of musicians won\u2019t make the same mistake, he divulged he had to prove himself worthy of a spot in the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all love, shout out to this new generation. I hope they don\u2019t make the mistakes that we made. I wasn\u2019t welcomed when I came into the industry based on my background. I really had to show them that I am good at this. I have a lot of friends in the industry and I feel like unity will make us become stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShout out to these new artists, they are going crazy. They are innovative. They are very smart young bright artists coming out of this country. All of them come here, we hang out. I tell them my two cents\u201d.<\/p>\n
