Mzansi Magic, South Africa’s MultiChoice TV network, has announced the return of the legendary reality television show ‘Big Brother Africa’ after a seven-year hiatus. \u2063<\/p>\n

The program is scheduled to premiere in 2022.<\/p>\n

According to sources, casting for the program, dubbed ‘Big Brother Mzansi’ and produced by Randburg-based Red Pepper Pictures, has begun in earnest (same producers of the Nigerian edition of the show).<\/p>\n

\nConfirming the forthcoming show, M-Net\u2019s Executive Head of Programming, Nomsa Philiso, said: \u201cThis year marks 20 years since the very first Big Brother<\/a> on MultiChoice\u2019s M-Net and we are excited to celebrate this milestone by commissioning a new Big Brother season, which will be housed under our Mzansi Magic stable.\u201d\u2063

\nThe last season of the show was aired in 2015 with Ace Khumalo<\/a> and Ntombi Tshabalala emerging winners.\u2063<\/p>\n
