Benny Blanco, an American record producer\/DJ\/ songwriter, has revealed the awkward moment he accidentally kissed Beyonce in the presence of Jay-Z from about 10 years ago.<\/p>\n

The “Lonely” producer, 33, did an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music on Wednesday Marcg 24, to celebrate the release of his forthcoming album FRIENDS KEEP SECRETS 2, the follow-up to his 2018 album.<\/p>\n

During the interview, he shared a story about being a guest at Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s house in the Hamptons with other producers for a beat battle and accidentally kissing her.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyonce had a house in the Hamptons, okay? She would invite people up there, and you\u2019d stay there. This was so many albums ago. This is like 2011, maybe 2010. So, you\u2019re sitting there, and it\u2019s Jay-Z and Beyonc\u00e9 and you\u2019re playing Would You Rather, asking Beyonce if she\u2019d rather have constipation or diarrhea for her life. Or you\u2019re sitting there asking Jay-Z if he likes Girls, like the show Girls. One night we\u2019re chilling\u2026 This will probably get ripped down off the internet. I\u2019m probably not supposed to say any of this. Probably going to be like a sniper who\u2019s going to shoot me through this window right now,\u201d he started narrating the story.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you\u2019re sitting there, and Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s like, \u201cLet\u2019s have a beat battle.\u201d I\u2019m sitting there. It\u2019s like me, Hit-Boy, a few other guys, and we were playing beats back and forth. I\u2019m playing beats, and Jay-Z is there and we\u2019re just drinking, chilling. He comes up to me and he\u2019s freestyling in my ear. And I\u2019m like, Jay-Z is sitting here, getting drunk with me while Beyonce is singing little riffs, and he\u2019s freestyling in my ear. And we\u2019re about to all go in the pool after. It\u2019s these moments, I\u2019m like, \u201cHow is this my life?\u201d End of the night, one night. This is the craziest story. We\u2019re sitting there. It\u2019s the end of the night. It\u2019s like the third night I\u2019m there, okay? Everyone\u2019s drunk. We\u2019re having fun. It\u2019s the best time ever,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

Benny then reveals that he ended up accidentally kissing Queen Bey while saying goodbye.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re saying, \u201cGood night.\u201d And it\u2019s at that point where I\u2019m like\u2026 Okay, I haven\u2019t yet. Do I hug Beyonc\u00e9? Like, what\u2019s the protocol? What do you do? Are you just like, \u201cBye.\u201d For the first night or so, it\u2019s like, we\u2019re not close yet. And so I\u2019m like, \u201cHey, bye\u201d at the end of the night. But it\u2019s like, we\u2019re all getting to know each other, and normally in that time I\u2019d be like, \u201cAh, great to hang.\u201d So I\u2019m like, do I go in for the hug? And you\u2019re like a little-Dude. Okay. You\u2019re with Jay-Z and Beyonc\u00e9. You\u2019re at their house. They\u2019re in shorts and a t-shirt. You\u2019re sitting there. And I remember I go in for the hug, okay? And then, I\u2019m like, oh, I\u2019m going to kiss her on the cheek. That\u2019s what you do. Yeah, you do. Everyone does that. Like, if I see someone\u2026 I\u2019m very European. You go- You go in and you do that. This is years ago. I was even more European. So, you go in. And I went to do like, kiss on the cheek, and I guess we just missed a little bit. And just like, I definitely hit the corner of some sort of lip. I\u2019m like, \u201cOh, my God. This is the worst thing in my life.\u201d And I\u2019m sitting there, and as I\u2019m doing it, out of the corner of my eye, Jay-Z<\/a> is right there looking at me. And I\u2019m just like, my lip is here. Hers is there, and there\u2019s definitely some corner things are happening.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I look at Jay and I\u2019m like, \u201cOh, okay. I\u2019m dead. My life is over. It was great. Nice knowing you guys.\u201d And like- This man is going to be in a coffin tomorrow. My life flashed before my eyes. And I\u2019m sitting there, and I look. And then, he\u2019s like, \u201cAll right, bro. See you tomorrow.\u201d Like, no one noticed\u2026 She didn\u2019t\u2026 This is where my neuroses comes in. But the crazy thing is, these things \u2026 Look. You go and you look.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benny said the music he made with Beyonce never came out but he is thankful for the experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a situation where I never made music with Beyonc\u00e9 that came out, but that moment in my life, going there, learning from them, I learned so much from her, learned so much from him. Just, that experience is the best to me. It\u2019s not about \u2026 To me, it\u2019s about the journey. Again, just about \u2026 I don\u2019t give a f-k what happens.
