{"id":5178,"date":"2021-03-31T22:08:02","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T22:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=5178"},"modified":"2021-03-31T22:08:10","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T22:08:10","slug":"tamar-braxtons-ex-boyfriend-david-adefeso-files-cease-and-desist-after-she-accuses-him-of-cheating-on-her","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/03\/31\/tamar-braxtons-ex-boyfriend-david-adefeso-files-cease-and-desist-after-she-accuses-him-of-cheating-on-her\/","title":{"rendered":"Tamar Braxton&#8217;s ex-boyfriend David Adefeso files cease and desist after she accuses him of cheating on her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>David Adefeso, ex-boyfriend to singer and reality star; Tamar Braxton,\u00a0has taken legal action against her after she accused him of cheating while they were together.<\/p>\n<p>The American celeb had revealed the alleged infidelity on Twitter few days ago, while responding to a fan who wants them to get back together.<\/p>\n<p>She claimed he was cheating with his then assistant, who is now his chief financial officer.<\/p>\n<p>Tamar Braxton wrote, \u201cHe was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/03\/10\/divorced-kenyan-gospel-singer-advises-women-to-stick-to-their-cheating-husbands\/\">cheating<\/a> with his then assistant now cfo since 2019 Jessica\u2026 God fixed it\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The US-based-Nigerian financial advisor has responded with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/03\/03\/david-adefesos-restraining-order-against-his-ex-tamar-braxton-is-dissolved-after-they-failed-to-appear-in-court\/\">cease and desist against her<\/a>, claiming she damaged his reputation by recently tweeting false statements about his cheating ways, which led to several news articles he found unflattering.<\/p>\n<p>In the docs, obtained by TMZ, David says Tamar knew she was lying when she tweeted, and he wants her to delete it, issue a retraction and stop dragging his name through the mud.<\/p>\n<p>David told the publication that he&#8217;s disappointed she &#8220;continues to make fabricated accusations about our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/03\/16\/video-if-you-feel-your-husband-cheats-on-you-put-condoms-in-his-bag-pete-edochie\/\">relationship<\/a> and has now created a false narrative of an affair that never occurred.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also said he never gave another woman a second look when they were dating.<\/p>\n<p>Tamar Braxton and David Adefeso, who both first met in May 2018, went their separate ways in 2020 after they accused each other of domestic violence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>David Adefeso, ex-boyfriend to singer and reality star; Tamar Braxton,\u00a0has taken legal action against her after she accused him of cheating while they were together.
