After leaving behind her religion and family, 28-year-old Yasmeena Ali, a top porn star and former muslim from Afghanistan speaks about the risks she\u2019s taken to pursue sex work.<\/p>\n

Speaking during an interview with The Post, Yasmeena Ali, said she feels empowered by her kinky occupation, despite her own father purportedly trying to have her killed over it.<\/p>\n

Ali said;<\/p>\n

\u201cI was surprised when I first started working in this industry with how well women are paid compared to their male co-stars.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of times women in other industries with higher qualifications and experiences do not get the same paycheck or respect as their male colleagues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali now clocks over 9 million video views on Pornhub. But it hasn\u2019t all been smooth sailing for the former Muslim, who now resides in Eastern Europe. From speaking out about the Taliban to cutting off ties with her family, the brunette beauty revealed the brave meaning behind her X-rated scenes.<\/p>\n

Ali was born in Kabul in 1993. After years spent living under oppressive Taliban rule, she immigrated to the United Kingdom with her family in the early 2000s. According to\u00a0the Toronto Sun, Ali\u2019s father was \u201cgranted asylum in the UK for providing British and US troops with translation services during fighting in the Middle East.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Ali didn\u2019t find life in England any easier, saying she felt suffocated growing up in a strict Muslim household.<\/p>\n

As a teenager, she \u201cescaped\u201d from her family and tied the knot with Jewish photographer David Cohen. She renounced her religion, \u201cunlocked\u201d her sexual side and embarked on a kinky career as an adult actress.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Ali was thrust into the headlines after her father and his cousin were arrested for\u00a0an alleged plot to have her killed\u00a0because she had \u201cdisgraced the family\u201d by getting into porn.<\/p>\n

Dad Mohammed Patman and cousin Darya Khan Safi were also said to be outraged that she married a Jew. It\u2019s alleged that in August 2018, Patman flew to Slovakia and was \u201cactively searching\u201d for Ali. A hitman allegedly stated that he would kill the porn star<\/a> for $70,000. Patman and Safi are now in the process of being extradited to Slovakia.<\/p>\n

Ali who is now an atheist told The Post;<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have any contact with my family and they haven\u2019t told me face-to-face how they feel about my career.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy parents always instilled fear in me \u2014 God, hell, punishments.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter I\u00a0left Islam,\u00a0my father threatened to kill me for tarnishing Islam, the Afghan culture and the family\u2019s honor.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, it is my life and I don\u2019t care about people\u2019s reactions to my career. I follow my heart and do whatever I want because it is my life, my body and right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Ali sat down with Tommie McDonald for\u00a0an interview on his \u201cI Hate Porn\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n

The adult movie star\u00a0slammed the Taliban, saying she believes its hypocritical members are secret porn lovers\u00a0and in some cases, not-so-secret. A\u00a0\u201cconsiderable\u201d cache of porn\u00a0was found on the computers of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden after his death in 2011.<\/p>\n

She said;<\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t be surprised [if they watch porn].<\/p>\n

“And yet, they restrict the rights of women and police their sexuality.<\/p>\n

\u201cSexually repressed societies are kind of obsessed. When you look at where most of the viewers come from. . . most of them are from Middle Eastern countries and India, for example.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali also told the podcast she felt oppressed in Afghanistan and \u201csaw people being beaten up\u201d for refusing to follow orders from the Taliban. She said there were frequent instances of \u201cdomestic violence\u201d and added that gay men in Afghanistan are unable to acknowledge their true sexuality for fear of being murdered.<\/p>\n

The erotic entertainer believes she is on the Taliban\u2019s radar, but says they certainly aren\u2019t the only Afghans who have a problem with her unorthodox occupation. Not only is Ali dubbed \u201cAfghanistan\u2019s top porn star,\u201d she\u2019s also been described as the country\u2019s \u201conly\u00a0porn star,\u201d\u00a0which underscores the need for more sexual freedom, she said.<\/p>\n

Ali\u00a0told McDonald of Afghans;<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t want Afghanistan to be known for porn.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey think they own my body and what I can do with my body and I have no right to show it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her interview with the \u201cI Hate Porn\u201d podcast, Ali admitted it took time to shed the feelings of shame she felt about her sexual desires. After fleeing from her family as a teen, Ali says she had to unlearn everything she knew, from the foods she typically ate to the way she dressed. Then came her sexual self-exploration.<\/p>\n

After months of practice, the porn star finally reached a climax, saying her first orgasm was \u201cthe trigger for a lot of things.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added;<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t masturbate. I couldn\u2019t have an orgasm<\/p>\n

\u201cMy first orgasm helped me to relax and explore things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ali who\u00a0is now exploring many new things, is\u00a0seen in numerous threesome and girl-on-girl videos available on the internet. In one X-rated clip, Ali is seen performing a sex act on a so-called \u201cgrandpa.\u201d<\/p>\n
