Former media personality, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi has taken to social media to lament how it\u2019s unfair that brands charge celebrities at a higher rate for goods and services just because they are famous.<\/p>\n

On Twitter, the mother-of-one<\/a> shared an experience she had with a bespoke clothing brand where she was charged higher than the usual.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Gbemi noted that she had \u2018DM\u2019ed\u2019 the brand to enquire about the price of a dress and was told it was N45,000. Her friend also DM\u2019ed the same brand asking for the price of the very same outfit and she was told it retails for N40,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

She noted that though the difference is only N5,000, she wondered why she was given the higher price and concluded that it just wasn\u2019t fair. She tweeted:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI dm\u2019ed a bespoke brand yesterday asking about the price of a dress on their page. They said it\u2019s 45k. I\u00a0<\/span>had a friend dm them as well about the same dress & they told her it\u2019s 40k.
