The “Fast and Furious” actor shared a heartbreaking\u00a0video of himself holding his mom’s hand in her hospital bed as he tearfully said his goodbyes.<\/p>\n
“On behalf of my family and everyone who ever spent anytime praying for my mother This is the saddest moment of my life\u2026\u2026\u2026. My sweet Valentine just passed away\u2026..”<\/p>\n
“May the lord Jesus Christ and his angels open the doors of heavens and embrace her\u2026\u2026\u2026. We as a family are broken and just can’t believe this\u2026\u2026. May the lord Jesus Christ honor your walk with him and embrace you into the heavens\u2026\u2026.”<\/p>\n
“From here on I ask that you HOLD MY HAND MOTHER and never let my hand go\u2026\u2026\u2026. Like you held my hand as a child and a teen never let my hand go mother\u2026..”\u00a0concluded Gibson, who is the youngest of four siblings in his family.<\/p>\n
The actor also gave thanks to legendary jazz artist\u00a0Kenny G, who played “Forever in Love”\u00a0during an Instagram Live\u00a0for Gibson and his mom while in the hospital.<\/p>\n
“Dear @kennyg I will never ever forget what you did for our beloved mother you sent her into the heavens with the perfect melody\u2026\u2026\u2026.”\u00a0he wrote.\u00a0“I am going to watch this clip over and over and remember that you sent her into the heavens on the sweetest Melodies\u2026.”<\/p>\n
The 43-year-old actor and singer had\u00a0been asking his fans for prayers for his mother throughout her hospitalization.<\/p>\n
He first shared on Instagram that she was in a coma and hospitalized in the ICU on Feb. 5.<\/p>\n
“My mother is in a coma, in ICU, with Pneumonia and she caught Covid they got her so sedated she can’t breathe or even eat on her own,” he wrote. “I need prayers the most sincere prayers from you prayer warriors\u2026. Hold on mother I’m there by your side in a few days\u2026.. God is able to do things, he\u2019s pulled you OUT of a coma before\u2026.. Oh God I seen the light things have been going so well\u2026. Now this\u2026”<\/p>\n
He later shared that he\u00a0received heartbreaking news\u00a0upon arriving at the hospital.<\/p>\n
“The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around,” he wrote. “I paused, and in my most sincere voice I asked him\u2026. You ever heard of a man name Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible for him\u2026\u2026 Ha paused and couldn’t respond\u2026!!”<\/p>\n
“Keep fighting mother\u2026\u2026\u2026,” he wrote. “Please mother, we need You\u2026\u2026.”<\/p>\n
