{"id":7761,"date":"2021-04-30T10:12:03","date_gmt":"2021-04-30T10:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/?p=7761"},"modified":"2021-04-30T10:12:03","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T10:12:03","slug":"akuapem-poloo-in-trouble-again-as-police-complaint-is-filed-against-her","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/04\/30\/akuapem-poloo-in-trouble-again-as-police-complaint-is-filed-against-her\/","title":{"rendered":"Akuapem Poloo in trouble again as police complaint is filed against her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After conquering a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/04\/16\/photo-ghanaian-actress-akuapem-poloo-sentenced-to-3-months-in-prison-for-posing-naked-with-son\/\">legal battle for posing nude in front her son<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0 Akuapem Poloo is reported to be in fresh legal woes as a police complaint has been filed against her.<\/p>\n<p>A defamation claim was filed against her by her friend Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB.<\/p>\n<p>Presenter\/ comedian, DKB, had been in charge of donations made to Akuapem when she was sentenced to jail for posing naked in the presence of her child.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian has now said that\u00a0the actress accused him of squandering monies he solicited on her behalf while she was in\u00a0prison.<\/p>\n<p>This was after Akuapem Poloo claimed one Mama Alice had accused her of not showing appreciation for the money she donated while she was in prison.<\/p>\n<p>According to Poloo, Mama Alice claimed to have given GH\u00a24,000 to DKB to be given to her.<\/p>\n<p>To prove her innocence, Akuapem Poloo, in a video, said she has not received any money from DKB and he has also refused to pick her phone calls.<\/p>\n<p>To clear his name, DKB has lodged a complaint asking\u00a0the police to investigate the matter.<\/p>\n<p>DKB posted his police statement\u00a0on his Instagram page.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7763\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/04\/chioma_adebiyi\/2021\/04\/30\/608bc5b9eee60.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/04\/chioma_adebiyi\/2021\/04\/30\/608bc5b9eee60.png 533w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/04\/chioma_adebiyi\/2021\/04\/30\/608bc5b9eee60-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/04\/chioma_adebiyi\/2021\/04\/30\/608bc5b9eee60-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He called the Ghanaian actress &#8220;ungrateful&#8221; and a &#8220;defamer&#8221;. He also said he regrets helping Akuapem, whose real name is Rosemond Alade Brown.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote:<\/p>\n<p>You can either be ungrateful or a defamer but you decided to be the 2.<\/p>\n<p>I swear on every sweat, blood and insults I&#8217;ve received, the extent to which I went to support is the same extent I&#8217;ll go to drag you over this.<\/p>\n<p>It go over you.
