It was kind of a reflection like: \u2018Man, you\u2019re a bit of a hypocrite,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that this made him have some self reflection as he saw himself as a hypocrite by expecting Baldwin to \u201cdo something\u201d that he was not doing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want your wife to do something that you\u2019re not doing and it\u2019s like, it\u2019s hard sometimes to look in the mirror and really have to realise, man, maybe you\u2019re not the person that you necessarily thought that you were and that\u2019s just a result of trauma and life circumstances,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Bieber noted that his \u201cfaith journey\u201d and personal \u201crelationship with Jesus\u201d allowed him to \u201cnot to be so hard on himself and get back when life is hard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust the idea that I\u2019m forgiven and that he\u2019s walking me through this journey and day by day, I get to just get better and better and not be too hard on myself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that that\u2019s ultimately what\u2019s going to encourage the people of the world, because it is discouraging out here sometimes, life smacks you in the face and it can be hard to get back up,\u201d Bieber said.<\/p>\n<p>Bieber concluded that once he realised that God is \u201ccompassionate\u201d and \u201cloving,\u201d it \u201cchanged everything\u201d for him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four years after tying the knot, singer, Justin Bieber has opened up about his struggles and how he suffered an emotional breakdown following his marriage to Hailey Baldwin.
