The Big Brother Naija winner revealed that not finding his name on the list made him emotional because he has doubled his efforts and worked hard to get a place in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
Laycon added that a part of him wanted the award because it is a commendation for all his hard works. Read his post below;<\/p>\n
\u201cI have never been a fan of judging people with the adjective \u201cBEST\u201d, however I see awards as a compliment, something to tell you \u201cHey! we see everything you\u2019ve done and we think you should get this for your efforts\u201d. This doesn\u2019t mean every other person didn\u2019t put in work!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEven TV stations, radio stations, OAPs etc. get \u201cawards\u201d for their efforts, doesn\u2019t take away from the work every media body or personnel put into growing the industry tbh. But when you work hard and you feel like you don\u2019t get recognition for your work, your emotions set in.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut no be everybody go win award, no be everybody dem go nominate. Even the people wey dem nominate go still complain of no be them collect the award because everyone works hard af to get themselves to that point.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI Dey emotional so I no go lie say a part of me no want award, because for someone coming from where I came from, a lot of people think I don\u2019t deserve half of what I have and what I\u2019m getting, so I\u2019ve had to do double of whatever it is you\u2019re supposed to do in this industry.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
