Dancer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, says her matrimonial ordeal with her former husband, John Ameh, changed her world view and outlook about certain aspects of people and their disposition.<\/p>\n

She said Ameh made her scared of calm people because of his actions despite his reticent demeanour.<\/p>\n

The award winning dancer<\/a><\/strong> made this known during an interview with Chude Jideonwo while speaking on her marriage travails.<\/p>\n

She said Ameh made her question her worthiness because of his philandering disposition.<\/p>\n

she said, \u201cI thought at the beginning that I had found someone to completely make me happy. But, that was selfish thinking. No human being should be one\u2019s source of happiness.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you see him (her husband), you will think he can\u2019t even hurt a fly because he is always calm. He has actually made me to be afraid of calm people. I held him in high regard until I had to ask him why he was treating me the way he was. I asked him what he had against me that was making him sleep around, even with my best friends. I knew that if I really loved him, I had to let him go.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dancer also stated that she started healing after she stopped sleeping with her ex-husband. She said, \u201cI started getting more healing when I stopped sleeping with him. I was celibate in my marriage for three years before getting a divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kaffy added that the domestic violence she witnessed between her parents made her feel that marriage to Ameh would bring her happiness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
