Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye also known as Mr P of PSquare, has taken to social media to react after Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu opined that Presidential aspirant, Peter Obi cannot win the 2023 election from the Labour Party.<\/p>\n
Dele Momodu disclosed this recently when he appeared on a current affairs programme \u2018Your View\u2019 on TVC.<\/p>\n
When asked if Peter Obi would be able to pull the type of votes Trump did in the US which nobody thought existed or get a large number of youths to vote for him in the general election, Dele Momodu said it\u2019s impossible.<\/p>\n
According to him, the first thing Peter Obi would face is to fund the party because the party is not financially buoyant and Nigerians do not make contributions.<\/p>\n
Dele also made it clear that Peter Obi cannot win the presidential election from a fringed local party like Labour.<\/p>\n
In his word: \u201cFor me, the two of the best that was in PDP were myself and Peter Obi and he had absconded. I was in labour, I started my journey from labour, the first thing Obi will face in Labour is to fund the party because the party does not have money and Nigerians don\u2019t make contributions.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAfter I lost the first ten million, I started shaking because they said they were setting up a structure.
