C.O.L.D, Bakia T. Thomas’s star-studded thriller, has revealed its official trailer ahead of its August 12, 2022, theatrical release.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The trailer’s first look reveals religious and supernatural characters, one of whom is shown as Satan. The Devil is referred to in the teaser as the ‘Son of the Morning,’ a common name used to identify the character played by veteran actor, Pete Edochie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While the plot of the film has not been revealed, the trailer suggests that it will be a thriller recounting the story of the eccentric biblical character.<\/p>\n

Pete Edochie in one of the monologues in the trailer confirms our curiosity that he will indeed play the character.<\/p>\n

“I am the Son of the morning, full of wisdom rich in beauty. I command the celestial choir because I write all the songs but how has humanity portrayed me but a monster with horns and a long barbed tail.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The film C.O.L.D is reported to be an adaptation of a book published in the United States. Also, several Hollywood production companies attempted to acquire the rights to the book, but the author turned down the offers.<\/p>\n

“I’m super excited that I was chosen by God to have told this story. Never made a film of this magnitude in my life and I count it a privilege. It was a massive work put in here by the cast and the crew of this movie.<\/p>\n

“Being an adaptation of a book that was published in the United States, 4 different Hollywood film Companies tried to acquire the rights of the book to make a movie from it and the Author refused.” – Bakia T. Thomas.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

C.O.L.D stars a stellar cast of Nollywood veterans, including Richard Mofe Damijo, who plays a religious leader, Hilda Dokubo, Ireti Doyle, Kanayo o. Kanayo, Keppy Ekpenyong, IK Ogbonna, and Freddie George.<\/p>\n
