Toke began:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI remember when I was younger, I\u2019ll see all those my aunties. Shout out to all my aunties! They were like in their 30\u2019s then and some of them lived in our house before they got married.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI remember seeing them at 35, 30\u2026actually 30. 35 ke?! That\u2019s grandma!! 30, I\u2019ll be looking at them like this and be thinking, \u2018this woman must have been promiscuous when she was young. That\u2019s why she\u2019s 30 and still in our house; and hasn\u2019t gone to her husband\u2019s house.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At 37 and unmarried, the vlogger wondered if her nephews and nieces see her like she saw aunts then. She continued:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cToday, I\u2019m 37! And I look at my nephews and nieces and I wonder, \u2018Is that how they look at me?\u2019 Or has time really changed?.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Commenting on how ladies were erroneously considered \u2018prostitutes\u2019 when seen in a car with a white man, she noted:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI remember one time, my mom was driving and somebody cut into her and it was a white guy and he had a black girl in front.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAnd we just went, \u2018Ode, o ti gbe ashewo\u2019 (fool, he has carried a prostitute). We just automatically assumed that every black girl you saw with a white guy was a whore.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Hitting on those who vowed as children never to indulge in habits like drinking and smoking when they turned adults, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2022\/06\/01\/long-suffering-emotional-abuse-toke-makinwa-reels-out-nigerian-mens-definition-of-a-strong-woman\/\">Toke Makinwa<\/a> added:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThose people that said, \u201cI\u2019ll never drink\u201d how are you coping with the tension in Nigeria?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cEvery day you go out, \u2018Can I have a glass of cocktail?\u2019\u2026..Can I have a glass of champagne? Can I have Hennessy? Can I have this and that?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cAnd those that condemned people who smoke shisha and the likes. Ask them now how it\u2019s going.
