The chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has gotten Nigerians to react with her latest comment.<\/p>\n

The comment was about Nigerians in the diaspora relocating back to Nigeria and she made this known at a recent press briefing at the state house in Abuja on Thursday, August 25. In her submission, she said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe speak of \u201cjapa\u201d as a one-way phenomenon, but we also have Nigerians constantly returning home. There are examples of Nigerians returning home, occasionally or permanently, to do interesting things, in agriculture, healthcare, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hospital where the VP was recently treated was set up by diaspora doctors. I\u2019m not saying Nigeria\u2019s not a challenging environment, but we must also acknowledge those who are coming back home to do impactful things.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
