The Headies Award over the years has suffered a decline, from having issues of credibility to the production of the award. The 15th<\/sup> Headies Award recently done in Atlanta, United States, however, was anticipated to be different and bring the old glory of the prestigious award back but has also failed to do so.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the location of the 15th<\/sup> Headies Award<\/a> was announced in March, it was met with lots of criticism from people, mostly with concerns about why an award meant to celebrate Nigerians will be held outside of the country. In response to these criticisms, Ayo Animashaun, CEO of Smooth Promotions stated that people will thank him later for that decision.<\/p>\n
