It can affect any part of the body but typically occurs in the arms and legs. The most common symptoms in addition to swelling are; a feeling of heaviness or tightness, restricted range of motion, aching or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/2021\/05\/11\/wendy-williams-and-boyfriend-mike-esterman-split-after-just-three-months-of-dating\/\">discomfort<\/a>, and recurring infections.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2019, Wendy, 56, revealed she had been diagnosed with lymphoedema after addressing paparazzi photos of her swollen legs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9764\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/05\/ify_davies\/2021\/05\/20\/60a6922e0d886.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"553\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/05\/ify_davies\/2021\/05\/20\/60a6922e0d886.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/entertainment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2021\/05\/ify_davies\/2021\/05\/20\/60a6922e0d886-293x300.jpg 293w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the Wendy Williams Show, she said: \u2018It\u2019s not going to kill me, but I do have a machine and how dare you talk about the swelling of it all. It\u2019s lymphoedema. I\u2019ve got it under control.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>That year she took an extended break from her talk show after suffering complications with Graves\u2019 disease, an autoimmune condition that affects the thyroid.
