Uber driver allegedly killed by passengers who ordered a ride in Ibeju area of Lagos

An Uber driver has allegedly been killed by passengers who ordered a ride in Ibeju community of Lagos state.

A social media user identified as @Josh_IK alleged that some passengers ordered a ride, canceled it and then asked for an offline ride. They then reportedly slit the driver’s throat and took his car.

Uber Support which has now reacted to the claim, is now seeking for more information on the incident.

In other report, three women have been abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers at Onipe community, Idi Ayunre along the Ibadan/Ijebu Ode Road.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the gunmen emerged from the bush around Onipe community at about 8:20am on Monday, April 12 and shot indisrciminately to scare travellers before they whisked away the women to an unknown destination.
