Youths of Damongo town, the capital of West Gonja Municipal, a municipal in the Savannah Region of northern Ghana on Monday, July 19, rejected the bags of rice sent to them by Hon Samuel Abu Jinapors.
The lawmaker, Jinapors is a member of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, and represents their constituency in the country’s parliament.
In the video that has since gone viral, the youths were seen shouting they want jobs and not bags of rice as they collectively rejected the food item.
